Kosterin met with PACE President

On June 21, 2011 in Strasbourg (France), a meeting of the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and head of Risk Reduction Foundation Vladimir Kosterin, was held.

Political responsibility and improvement of quality of life through risk reduction were main subjects of discussion. They also talked about cooperation towards development of risk models of cities, regions and countries in order to promote constructive competition between states and political forces.

According to Vladimir Kosterin, parliamentarians from different countries using objective information about the situation at the national and local level, will be able to set priorities in addressing the problems and make public policy more effective. «Using modern management solutions and innovative technologies in risk reduction models, will make it possible to improve the socio-economic, environmental and political conditions in each country, and in Europe as a whole», — said Vladimir Kosterin. As a result, agreement on cooperation in risk reduction and improvement of quality of life was achieved.
