Risk Reduction Foundation was established on January 16, 2010 in Geneva (Switzerland). For its useful social activity the Foundation received tax-exempt status from the Government of the Swiss Confederation in 2011.

Risk Reduction Foundation implemented a number of expert projects together with the bodies of the United Nations, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and the Club of Rome. Together with the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Charitable Foundation Risk Reduction Foundation supported educational initiatives for young people. Online projects for the development of local self-government and for increase of the level of investment culture were created.
